Stephen James Consulting continues to work with one of its established elderly care providers in the search for an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager to support a portfolio of five residential, dementia and nursing homes across the Essex region. This is a pivotal leadership role, and forms part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) you will play a key role in supporting Home Managers, maintaining exceptional care standards, driving quality improvements, along with contributing to the long term success of the operational outcomes across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership and operational oversight across a portfolio of nursing, residential and dementia care homes
- Providing strong clinical leadership to support safe, effective and person-centred care
- Supporting and developing Home Managers to deliver high-quality services
- Driving improvements in CQC outcomes, clinical governance and regulatory compliance
- Monitoring performance, identifying risk, and implementing corrective action plans
- Supporting services through clinical, staffing and operational challenges
- Working closely with senior leadership to deliver agreed quality and business objectives
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Regional Manager within elderly care
- Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC PIN - Not Essential
- Strong track record of improving quality, stabilising services and supporting Home Managers
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance and compliance frameworks
- A supportive but robust leadership style with strong communication skills
