The Role:
Stephen George and Partners are seeking an experienced Architectural Visualiser to strengthen our CGI capability, supporting a key strategic commercial client while contributing to the wider CGI function across the practice. The role will be primarily based in our Solihull office, working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality visual material for bids, planning submissions, marketing collateral and stakeholder engagement. While embedded within the Solihull office, the role forms part of the central CGI team and will contribute to maintaining consistent visual standards, innovation and commercial performance across the practice. Regular collaboration and occasional working from our Leicester office will be expected to ensure strong team integration and alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-end still imagery, animations and visual narratives to support planning submissions, competitive bids and client presentations.
- Collaborate closely with architects and design teams to interpret design intent accurately and creatively.
- Respond professionally to client-driven deadlines and fast-paced project requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of CGI standards, workflows and innovation across the practice.
- Ensure consistency of visual quality in line with established CGI guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the wider CGI team across offices, including attendance at Leicester for coordination and team development.
- Maintain awareness of program deadlines, resource planning and commercial priorities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through exploration and application of emerging visualisation and AI technologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable experience producing high-quality architectural visualisations and animations.
- Strong portfolio showcasing photorealistic stills and animated sequences.
- Advanced proficiency in V-Ray and 3ds Max (or equivalent high-end modelling/rendering platforms).
- Experience with Unreal Engine, Lumion, Enscape or similar real-time rendering tools.
- Competency in AutoCAD (essential).
- Competency in Revit (essential).
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Comfortable and proactive in the use of AI-assisted tools to enhance workflow efficiency and creative output.
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, materials and environmental context.
Desirable Experience:
- Architectural background or formal architectural training (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience supporting planning-led projects and competitive bid submissions.
- Experience producing immersive or interactive content.
- Awareness of emerging visualisation technologies and industry trends.
