An excellent opportunity to join an established accountancy practice in Hornchurch (London Borough of Havering). The practice is well respected with a varied local client base and provides a modern approach to the profession. It has a strong professional workforce and an extremely high staff retention rate. There is a vibrant and dynamic working environment. The practice has recently grown through acquisition and continues to grow, attracting new clients, and is therefore looking for new office-based full-time experienced staff to join the team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accounts to Trial Balance
- Preparing CT600 tax returns
- Preparing accounts for Limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Preparation of management accounts
- VAT returns
- Bookkeeping
- Compilation of corporate and personal tax returns
- Direct contact with clients
- Assisting management/directors in ad hoc projects
Tax Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assisting managers/directors with our tax work
- Onboarding non to medium complex clients
- VAT application/deregistration/Option to tax
