Our client is a leading London based wealth management business with a strong brand, a high-quality proposition and an established client base. They are seeking to hire an experienced Team Leader / Supervisor to act as a mentor, coach and trainer leading a team of financial planners and advisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coaching, mentoring, training, and leadership to a team of financial planners and advisers, supporting both business objectives and individual development goals.
- Develop revenue and sales performance across the team to deliver exceptional results for clients and the business.
- Support advisers with complex planning cases including retirement income planning.
- Manage workflow and workload to optimise efficiency and ensure service standards and deadlines are consistently met.
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain the standards outlined in the company’s Training & Competence scheme, working closely with advisers, fellow supervisors, and the Heads of Training & Competence and Financial Planning.
- Conduct and document observations, file reviews, one-to-one meetings, and other T&C activities within agreed timeframes.
Candidate Requirements
- The successful candidate will have experience as a team leader or supervisor to a team of financial advisers or financial planners; a strong background in providing financial advice to clients over the telephone and face to face with good exposure to retirement planning, financial planning and pensions transfers and advice.
- The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills; Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and/or Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning; current holder of competent adviser status; a valid Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) with up-to-date Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and good IT skills.
