Our client is a leading wealth management business seeking an experienced Wealth Adviser to join its established investment advice team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with clients requiring holistic investment, pensions and retirement planning advice, supported by a strong brand, high-quality proposition and an established client base.

The successful candidate will provide regulated financial advice across investments, pensions and retirement planning while delivering an outstanding client experience and maintaining the highest professional and regulatory standards.

Job Summary

As a Financial Adviser, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the delivery of high-quality, compliant financial advice to clients. You will advise on pensions, investments and retirement income planning, ensuring recommendations are tailored to each client's objectives and delivered in line with Consumer Duty principles and FCA regulations. This role is suited to an adviser with strong experience in investment and retirement planning. Experience using cashflow modelling is highly desirable, while knowledge of safeguarded pension benefits or pension transfers would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality regulated financial advice across pensions, investments and retirement planning;
  • Generate income for the business through effective client relationship management and advice delivery;
  • Produce clear, compliant and professionally written suitability reports and supporting documentation;
  • Ensure all advice and client interactions comply with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements and internal compliance standards;
  • Maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date client records;
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience with a professional, ethical and customer-focused approach;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues while managing your own client portfolio effectively;
  • Support wider business objectives and undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Candidate Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have proven experience providing regulated financial advice across investments, pensions and retirement planning;
  • Experience advising clients both remotely and face-to-face;
  • Strong written communication skills with experience producing suitability reports;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills;
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
  • A valid Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) with up-to-date CPD.
  • Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
  • Experience using cashflow modelling software.
  • Advanced Pension Transfer qualification (G60, AF3 or equivalent).
  • Experience advising on defined benefit transfers or other safeguarded pension benefits.
