We are looking for a Senior Social Media Executive to join our Product & Marketing team. If you are someone who loves turning strategy into standout social content β and can back it up with clear performance insight β this could be the role for you. You will play a key part in shaping and delivering our activity across priority channels and emerging platforms, helping us grow awareness, deepen engagement and drive meaningful results.
What you will be doing
As our Senior Social Media Executive, you will lead the planning and day-to-day delivery of our social media activity, turning strategy into structured, high-quality content that aligns with wider marketing goals. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and stakeholders across the charity, you will manage the content calendar, spot campaign opportunities, develop our presence on new platforms, and ensure everything we publish is on-brand, accessible and compliant.
You will use performance data and insight to continually optimise activity, aligning paid and organic approaches and reporting clearly on impact. As the main point of contact for social media, you will oversee monitoring and engagement, support crisis communications if needed, and line manage a Social Media Executive β keeping our channels organised, effective and always improving.
About you
You will bring proven experience delivering multi-channel social content in a brand, charity or agency setting, with a strong grasp of platforms, trends and what drives performance. You are confident thinking about strategy and turning it into structured content plans, writing sharp copy, briefing creative assets and working comfortably within approval processes in a regulated environment.
Organised and proactive, you are used to juggling stakeholder requests, using analytics to shape smarter decisions and aligning paid and organic activity for maximum impact. Experience with social listening tools and paid social would be an advantage, and if you have managed someone before, even better. Most importantly, you are collaborative, with great stakeholder management skills, insight-driven and motivated by creating social content that genuinely makes a difference.
