Job Description
- UK Chemical Plant Operator-Shifts 4 on 6 off days and nights
- £30000-£35000 dependant on experience plus shift allowance
- Main aspects of the role
- Operate a variety of chemical plant equipment including loading/off loading tankers
- Problem Solving in Production Areas
- Regular manual handling of chemicals bags up to 25kg and drums.
- Assist with Audits and Inspections
- You will also be expected to participate in the site Emergency Response and participate in continuous improvement and asset care
- We need you to be able to
- Work shifts Days and Nights (2 x 12 days, 2 x 12 nights) 6 days off but must be available to cover with reserved hours.
- Understand Top Tier COMAH
- Possess basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Computer skills (SAP advantageous, Microsoft packages)
- Counterbalance FLT licence
- Must have full right to work in the UK
Qualifications
And it would be great if you could also have this.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge (5S, Kaizen & 7 wastes) advantageous
- Experience in the chemical industry is not vital but a manufacturing background would be advantageous
