Job Description:
- UK Based Chemical Operator – Shifts 4 on 6 off, annualised 12 hour shifts, 2 days/2 nights.
- Carries out duties to comply with IPPC, COMAH and other regulatory obligations.
- Understands the basis of safety and safe operating limits for site processes and safety critical tasks.
- Ensures finished goods are of the highest quality.
- Understands factors affecting product quality and adjusts operating conditions within specified guidelines to achieve product quality specification.
- Completes documentation and records to quality standards.
- Actively participates in continuous improvements and workgroups.
- Operates processes in full accordance with SOP’s/COP’s.
- Operates processes to issued plan/schedule.
Qualifications:
- Must be computer literate.
- Level 2 functional skills (Maths / English).
- FLT license (Counterbalance).
- Ideally experience within a Chemical processing environment.
Desirable:
- PSMO training.
- NVQ level 3 Process Operators qualification (or equivalent).
