UK Based Chemical Operator

Shifts: 4 on 6 off, annualised 12 hour shifts (2 days/2 nights)

Responsibilities:

  • Carries out duties to comply with IPPC, COMAH and other regulatory obligations.
  • Understanding of the basis of safety and safe operating limits for site processes and safety critical tasks.
  • Ensures finished goods are of the highest quality.
  • Understands factors affecting product quality and adjusts operating conditions within specified guidelines to achieve product quality specification.
  • Completes documentation and records to quality standards.
  • Actively participates in continuous improvements and workgroups.
  • Operates processes in full accordance with SOP’s/COP’s.
  • Operates processes to issued plan/schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Must be computer literate.
  • Level 2 functional skills (Maths / English).
  • FLT license (Counterbalance).
  • Ideally experience within a Chemical processing environment.
  • PSMO training.
