This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to join a leading infrastructure consultancy specialising in site and ground investigation. Based in Nottingham, this full-time permanent role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic and challenging environment, with real potential for career growth.??? About the Role As part of the Site & Ground Investigation team, you’ll play a key role in assessing subsurface conditions for major infrastructure projects. Your work will directly contribute to the design and delivery of safe, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions across sectors like rail, highways, and construction.Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting site surveys and collecting samples (soil, rock, concrete, steel, stone)
- Supporting geotechnical and structural investigations
- Producing technical reports and interpretive documents
- Participating in safety briefings and technical meetings
- Assisting with project management tasks as your role develops
- Working in varied environments, including nights and weekends when required
- A degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, or Physical Geography (MEng/MSc/BEng/BSc)
- A full, clean driving licence
- A flexible approach to work and willingness to travel
- A desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, hands-on role
