Duties as SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil with SEND needs, ensuring engagement and progress
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual needs
- Support the pupil in developing social and communication skills
- Maintain accurate records and liaise with the SENCO and teaching staff
- Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils
