We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning within a welcoming and inclusive school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

  • Support pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Help to prepare classroom resources and maintain a purposeful learning environment
  • Provide support for children with additional needs where required
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and behaviour
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold school values

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with children or young people (in schools or other settings)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting pupils and staff
  • A caring and patient attitude
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) – desirable but not essential
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
