We are seeking passionate SEND Teachers to work across a variety of school settings supporting pupils with special educational needs. These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who want to make a meaningful impact and enjoy working in diverse educational environments.
Duties as SEND Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Plan and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet individual requirements
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and uphold safeguarding procedures
Ideal SEND Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and behaviour management
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
