We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working closely with teaching staff, you will provide targeted support to pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), to help them engage with the curriculum and achieve their full potential. Starting ASAP.

Duties as Secondary Teaching Assistant:

  • Support students in class, in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lessons
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs or EHCPs
  • Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and parents/carers where appropriate
  • Contribute to student progress by monitoring and reporting on performance

Ideal Secondary Teaching Assistant:

  • Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths
  • Experience working with secondary-age students is desirable
  • A patient, flexible, and supportive approach
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
