We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and organised Reception Year Teacher to join a supportive early years team on a short-term basis. This is a fixed-term position for one term, ideal for a passionate teacher looking to make a positive impact in a nurturing and creative EYFS setting. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Reception Year Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Support pupils’ development across all areas of learning, including communication, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional growth.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor progress using observations and formative assessments.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Ideal Reception Year Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in Early Years or Reception.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early child development.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team.
