Psychology Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting schools in a range of environments, delivering Psychology lessons across Key Stages as part of general supply cover.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Psychology lessons following provided plans
  • Teach topics such as cognitive, social, developmental, and biological psychology
  • Support students in developing analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Assess, track, and record pupil progress where required
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
  • Contribute to department planning during longer-term placements

Ideal Psychology Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Psychology and related areas
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of mixed abilities
  • Confident behaviour management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable across various school settings
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
