Duties as Nurture Room SEND Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide tailored support within the nurture room for pupils with a range of SEND needs
  • Support emotional regulation, social development, and routine building
  • Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to reinforce key learning
  • Assist with structured interventions and therapeutic activities
  • Implement behaviour and support plans consistently
