Duties as Nursery Practitioner:

  • Support children’s learning and development through play and structured activities
  • Assist with planning and delivery of EYFS curriculum
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Help manage daily routines including meals, hygiene, and transitions
  • Observe and record children’s progress
  • Uphold safeguarding and nursery policies consistently

Ideal Nursery Practitioner:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
  • Experience working in nursery or early years settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and children’s needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
  • Passionate about supporting young children’s growth and learning
