Duties as Admin Receptionist:

  • Provide a professional and welcoming front‑of‑house service for visitors, parents, and staff
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records using the Arbour system
  • Support internal projects and assist with administrative tasks as required
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed for all visitors
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and accuracy

Ideal Admin Receptionist:

  • Previous experience in a school office or similar environment
  • Proficiency in using Arbour or similar school management systems
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or have one registered on the Update Service
