Duties as Early Years Practitioner:

  • Support the learning and development of children aged 0–5

  • Support children with personal care routines and hygiene
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child's development

Ideal Early Years Practitioner:

  • Relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education)
  • Experience working with children in nursery or early years settings
  • A warm, caring, and patient approach to supporting young children
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A flexible and proactive attitude to working across different settings
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
