Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join a vibrant languages department from October 2025. You will inspire pupils to develop a love of languages and help them achieve their full potential across all key stages taught.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in your specialist language(s).
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and setting challenging targets.
- Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and extracurricular activities such as language clubs or trips.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote cultural awareness and an appreciation for global diversity.
Ideal candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in at least one modern foreign language (preferably more than one).
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills as an MFL Teacher.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of students.
