Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented MFL Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate linguist to inspire students and promote a love of languages and cultural understanding. Beginning September 2025.
Responsibilities

Teach one or more modern foreign languages (e.g. French, Spanish, German) across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5.

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ language skills, confidence, and cultural awareness.

Assess, track, and monitor progress to ensure strong outcomes for all learners.

Encourage active participation through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities.

Contribute to extracurricular opportunities, such as language clubs, trips, and cultural events.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the development of the languages department.
Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge in at least one modern foreign language.
