Maths Teacher – Full-time, flexible supply roles starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working with a range of secondary schools in and around Watford, supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Duties as Maths Teacher:

Deliver engaging maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school policies
Support pupils’ learning and progress during short-term cover
Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
Liaise with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency
Provide feedback on pupil engagement and lesson outcomes

Ideal Maths Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience teaching maths in secondary schools
Flexibility and confidence to work in different schools and year groups
Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Maths Teacher
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff
