Duties as KS1 Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum following provided plans
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Assess and record pupil progress where required
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners
  • Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to the wider school community

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge across the KS1 curriculum
  • Adaptable and confident working across different schools and year groups
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
