We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners at a key stage in their development and play a vital role in helping them reach their full potential. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS1 Teaching Assistant:

Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and activities

Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning

Assist with phonics, early reading, writing, and maths support

Help to create a stimulating and well-organised classroom environment

Encourage positive behaviour and support social and emotional development

Provide supervision during break and lunchtimes as needed

Contribute to classroom displays and general admin duties
Ideal KS1 Teaching Assistant:

Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 1

A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills as a KS1 Teaching Assistant.

A good understanding of phonics and early learning principles

A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 TA) is desirable but not essential
