High Level Teaching Assistant – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for High Level Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working across a range of primary schools in Edmonton and nearby areas, supporting pupils’ learning and assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
Duties as High Level Teaching Assistant:
- Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Deliver small group interventions and occasionally lead whole-class sessions
- Assist with planning and preparation of learning activities
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Uphold safeguarding and school policies consistently
Ideal High Level Teaching Assistant:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working in UK primary schools
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt to different school settings and pupil needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
