High Level Teaching Assistant – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for High Level Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working across a range of primary schools in Edmonton and nearby areas, supporting pupils’ learning and assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons.

Duties as High Level Teaching Assistant:

  • Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Deliver small group interventions and occasionally lead whole-class sessions
  • Assist with planning and preparation of learning activities
  • Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies consistently

Ideal High Level Teaching Assistant:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience working in UK primary schools
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills as a High Level Teaching Assistant
  • Ability to adapt to different school settings and pupil needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
