Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic General Science Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school science department on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people in their scientific learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-class support to students across Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons.

  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation, practical experiments and resource management.

  • Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce understanding of key scientific concepts.

  • Help maintain a safe and well-organised laboratory environment, ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.

  • Support students with additional learning needs to help them achieve their full potential.
