We are looking for a flexible and reliable General Cover Teacher to join a dedicated school team in September 2025.
Duties as General Cover Teacher:

Provide high-quality cover for absent teachers across a range of subjects and year groups.

Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure continuity of learning for all pupils.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with the school’s policies.

Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils and support their progress.

Maintain a positive and safe learning environment.

Work collaboratively with other staff to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.

Carry out any additional duties reasonably required to support the smooth running of the school day.
Ideal General Cover Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.

Ability to teach confidently across different subjects and key stages.

Strong classroom management and communication skills as a General Cover Teacher.

Flexible, adaptable, and organised approach.
