PE Teachers – Day-to-Day General Cover, Starting Immediately. You will work across Paignton and the surrounding areas, providing general cover on a day-to-day basis, with the potential for longer-term or permanent roles.
Duties as PE Teacher
- Deliver engaging PE lessons and general classroom cover when required
- Follow pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Assess and support student progress where appropriate
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold safeguarding standards
Ideal PE Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching PE across Key Stages is desirable
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different subjects and school environments
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or have one registered on the Update Service
