Duties as Drama Teacher:

  • Deliver creative and engaging Drama lessons following provided plans
  • Inspire students through practical and performance-based activities
  • Encourage teamwork, confidence-building, and expressive communication
  • Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
  • Assess and record pupil progress where required
  • Contribute positively to performing arts departments when placed in longer-term roles

Ideal Drama Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Drama and performing arts
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
  • Confident classroom management skills
  • Adaptable and comfortable working across different school environments
