Maths and Design Technology Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role from as soon as possible until July 2026.

Duties

  • Deliver engaging Maths and Design Technology lessons up to KS3 using pre-prepared materials.
  • Support pupil understanding without planning responsibilities.
  • Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
  • Assess pupil progress informally during lessons and provide clear feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote positive routines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support cohesive curriculum delivery.
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure pupil welfare.

Ideal

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience teaching Maths and Design Technology.
  • Strong subject knowledge in both Maths and DT at KS3.
  • Confident classroom management skills.
