Step Teachers are working with a Nursery in Tower Hamlets to find an enthusiastic and qualified Baby Room Leader. If you are passionate about Early Childhood Education and dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for young children, we want to hear from you! This is a long-term role starting at 8am and finishing at 6pm, and the Nursery is eager to find a Baby Room Leader that is available to start as soon as possible.
Baby Room Leader – Role:
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all infants under care.
- Providing high-quality, age-appropriate care to babies, including feeding, changing, and comforting.
- Encouraging sensory exploration, motor skills development, and language acquisition.
- Leading and supervising a team of nursery staff, ensuring they follow policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the baby room is clean, organized, and safe at all times, in line with health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining open and positive communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress, behavior, and well-being.
Baby Room Leader – Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Room Leader in an early childhood education setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Weekly pay is processed through PAYE. We offer high street, travel, gym membership and many other exclusive discounts, along with physical and emotional well-being services as standard with our pay portal.
£80 – £95 per day PAYE – based on experience.
