We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school team on a short-term basis, starting immediately and running until Christmas 2025.
Duties as Year 2 Teaching Assistant:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities for Year 2 pupils.

Assist small groups or individual pupils to help them achieve learning objectives.

Support classroom management and encourage positive behaviour.

Help with daily routines, including setting up resources and supervising play or learning activities.

Contribute to pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
Ideal Year 2 Teaching Assistant:

Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally Year 2.

Positive, flexible, and proactive approach.

Good communication and teamwork skills as a Year 2 Teaching Assistant.

Relevant Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential.

Current Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
