We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive team at a wonderful school. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in reaching their full potential in a nurturing and dynamic school environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

Support teaching and learning across the classroom, working with individuals, small groups, or the whole class

Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources

Support the development of children’s social, emotional and academic skills

Help to deliver intervention programmes tailored to individual pupil needs

Work closely with the class teacher to monitor progress and provide feedback

Encourage positive behaviour and promote the school’s values

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including playtime supervision and school events

Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for all pupils
Ideal Teaching Assistant:

Has experience working with children in an educational setting (school or nursery)

Is patient, positive, and approachable with excellent communication skills

Works well as part of a team and independently

Understands the importance of safeguarding and inclusion as a Teaching Assistant.

Is committed to supporting every child to thrive academically and emotionally

(Desirable) Has relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent

(Optional) Has experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs
