Duties as Music Teacher
- Deliver engaging music lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school routines
- Inspire students through practical and theoretical music activities
- Manage behaviour effectively and ensure pupil safety
- Leave feedback for the class teacher and complete marking where required
- Support students in developing performance, composition and listening skills
Ideal Music Teacher
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has recent experience teaching music in UK secondary schools
- Is confident working with a range of musical styles and instruments
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
- Is flexible, reliable and enthusiastic about supply teaching
- Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
