We are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience—ideal for aspiring teachers or those with a passion for education. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement

Support students in their learning and encourage a positive classroom environment
Ideal Cover Supervisor:

Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting

Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills as a Cover Supervisor.

A calm, professional, and flexible approach

Confidence to lead lessons across a variety of subjects at KS3 and KS4
