Early Years Practitioner – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different nursery and school settings.
Responsibilities
- Support the learning and development of children aged 0–5
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
- Observe and record children’s progress and contribute to learning journals
- Support children with personal care routines and hygiene
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development
- Maintain a clean, organised, and inclusive learning space
Ideal Candidate
- Relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education)
- Experience working with children in nursery or early years settings
- A warm, caring, and patient approach to supporting young children
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A flexible and proactive attitude to working across different settings
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
