Duties as Deputy Wrap Club Manager:

  • Support the day-to-day running of wraparound care sessions
  • Assist in planning and delivering structured and play-based activities
  • Supervise children aged 3 to 11 during morning and afternoon sessions
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
  • Lead and support staff within the provision
  • Help with preparing snacks, organising resources, and setting up activities
  • Provide consistent routines from 7:30am–8:45am and after school until 6pm
  • Uphold safeguarding procedures and prioritise child welfare

Ideal Deputy Wrap Club Manager:

  • Level 3 qualification in early years education, childcare, or equivalent
  • Confident supporting children across a wide age range
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and support a small team
  • Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic in working with children

All candidates registering with Step Teachers are subject to safeguarding checks in line with the DfE’s Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance, including reference checks and an Enhanced DBS check (either registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one). Your salary – dependent on experience – is paid weekly through PAYE. You may access exclusive deals and wellbeing services as part of your employment support.
