Salary: £500-£530 per week, term-time only

Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain meaningful experience working with children and young people before progressing into Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, counselling or teacher training?
Step Into Teaching is working with a school in Cromer, Norfolk, looking for a motivated and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to take your Psychology degree into a real school environment, gaining valuable experience supporting children's learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and development.
What you'll be doing
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs
- Supporting pupils with their learning, communication and confidence
- Developing positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
- Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement
- Helping pupils access personalised learning and classroom activities
- Working closely with teachers and other members of the school's support team
- Encouraging independence and helping pupils reach their potential

You don't need extensive classroom experience - we're looking for graduates who are patient, approachable, resilient and genuinely interested in supporting young people.

Enhanced DBS and relevant safeguarding checks will be required before starting.
