Salary – £17,075 pro rata salary (equivalent to a full-time salary of £26,126 per annum)

Joining bonus of £500 upon joining (paid at 3 months service providing not working notice)

JOB SPECIFICATION:

  • Hours: 25 hours per week
  • Direct Supervisor: School Business Manager
  • School year: 40 weeks a year
  • Location: Grinstead Lane, Sharpthorne, East Sussex, RH19 4HP
  • Probation period: Six months

Step By Step School is a small independent day school for autistic children and young people. We provide specialised teaching for Primary, Secondary and Sixth form pupils, aged 4-19. The defining aspect of our school is individualised teaching for each pupil based on behaviour analytic practices.

About the role

This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school. You will provide high-quality administrative support across a busy and collaborative environment, contributing to daily operations, communication and organisation. You will also provide light-touch support with routine financial administration, helping to maintain accurate records and processes.
