Salary and Benefits: £27,760 per annum (salary £21,600 + sleepover allowance £5,200 + shift allowance £960). 30 hours per week permanent contract. Our unique step by step approach, providing accommodation, personal development opportunities and specialist support services, identifies and fulfils aspirations. Each year we work with over 1,300 young people aged 11–25 and our employees play a pivotal role in empowering young people and preventing homelessness.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of young people in the foyer, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety protocols.
  • Create and monitor individual action plans, providing tailored advice to foster independence.
  • Build professional relationships with assigned young people to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Manage housing benefit applications and facilitate workshops.
  • Communicate effectively within the team.
  • Inspire young people by nurturing their talents and encouraging personal growth.

Requirements:

  • Work pattern: Week 1 – Mon 16:00‑00:00 + sleep, Tue 08:30‑16:30, Fri 16:00‑00:00 + sleep & Sat 08:30‑16:30.
  • Previous experience not required; skills and attitude are key.
  • Availability to work shifts and sleepovers (shift allowance paid).
  • Successful completion of enhanced DBS check.
  • Provide two references and other employment checks.
  • Commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
