Come and join our small friendly team! Step and Stone is a Bristol-based bakery specialising in supporting adults with learning disabilities and differences. Through a unique, person-centred approach, we help trainees develop employability and independence skills within a real working bakery environment, while producing high-quality, award-winning products. We are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive and ambitious environment where every individual is valued and encouraged to thrive.
The Bakery Lead is responsible for the day-to-day running of the bakery during allocated sessions, creating a supportive and productive environment where adults with learning disabilities and differences can develop work-based skills through baking. Working closely with trainees, staff, volunteers and the Educational Lead, the Bakery Lead will support the production of high-quality bakery products while promoting confidence, independence, teamwork and employability skills.
Location: Yate, South Gloucestershire
Reports to: Bakery Manager/Director of Operations
Salary: £28,119 (pro rata)
Hours: 15 hours per week
