A fast-growing automotive finance brokerage, supporting clients across the UK in securing finance for a wide range of vehicles - from prestige and performance cars to rare classics. Working closely with a strong network of dealers, introducers, and lenders, the firm delivers a seamless, high-touch customer experience. The team is ambitious, collaborative, and passionate about cars, and is now looking to expand its Automotive department with a driven Business Development Manager.
As a key member of the Automotive team, you will be responsible for driving new business and developing long-term relationships across the automotive sector. You will act as a trusted point of contact for dealers, introducers, and clients, helping them secure the right finance solutions while expanding the firm’s partner network.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and manage strong relationships with automotive dealers, introducers, and clients
- Identify new business opportunities and onboard new partners to support growth
- Develop a thorough understanding of automotive finance products and lending panels
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and high-quality client journey
- Manage and track sales pipelines using HubSpot
- Deliver an exceptional finance experience, particularly for high-value and VIP clients
- Represent the firm at automotive events, partner days, and industry shows (as required)
- Monthly Activity Target: 350 touchpoints
- Monthly Revenue Target: £12,500
- Commission is paid monthly on an uncapped structure, with higher rates applied for performance above target.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Background within automotive, motor finance, or financial services (preferred)
- A genuine passion for cars and the automotive sector
- Strong communication skills, both in person and digitally
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation abilities
- A proactive, target-driven mindset with strong pipeline management skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to outstanding client service
- Experience within automotive finance or the prestige/performance car market is desirable but not essential
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
- A results-driven sales background with demonstrable success against targets
- Competitive base salary plus £60k OTE with uncapped commission
- Private healthcare (launching Q1)
