Job Summary: This role will lead complex Trust-wide transformation programmes from inception to completion, ensuring programmes are delivered effectively and achieve the intended measurable impact and outcomes for service users, carers, and staff.
Key Relationships: The post holder will develop relationships and directly work with a range of stakeholders at all levels, including members of the Executive Team, senior managers, clinical and operational roles, and service users and carers.
Management Responsibilities: The post holder will be required to either directly line manage or supervise more junior project managers or project officers. They will contribute to the development of the transformation team by sharing their skills and delivering informal learning sessions.
Leading programmes: The postholder will provide effective leadership of complex and long-term Trust-wide projects and programmes, including scoping programmes, ensuring clear objectives, establishing strong programme management approaches, and delivering regular reporting and monitoring.
Financial Responsibility: The post holder will oversee the budget for the programmes they manage.
Service Development and Improvement: The post holder will work with clinicians, operational managers, service users, and carers to develop and deliver service redesign projects.
Communications: The postholder will develop and implement effective communications strategies for the programmes they are managing.
Health and Safety: The post holder has a duty of care to themselves and others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications/Education/Training: First degree (or equivalent experience), Project management qualification, Leadership or management qualification.
Previous Experience: Experience of project management, leading and delivering programmes of change, preferably within a multi-disciplinary environment, and line management experience.
Skills/Knowledge/Ability: Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to communicate and build effective working relationships; analytical skills; problem-solving skills; well-developed IT and digital skills.
