Job Title: Registration Staffing Support
Location: Greenwich Campus, London SE9 2HB (with potential travel to other campuses)
Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Salary: £14 per hour
Job Purpose:
The Registration Staffing Support will support the delivery of student registration and related administrative services within the Student & Academic Services (SAS) department.
This includes verifying student details, issuing ID cards, updating records, and providing frontline support and guidance to students, ensuring an efficient and welcoming registration experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Student and Academic Services (SAS) in the delivery of registration.
- Assist with the updating of student records including personal details such as name and address.
- Issue Greenwich Gateway ID cards to students.
- Provide frontline support, information, and signposting to students during the registration period.
- Assist with checking and verifying student documentation, including identification.
- Undertake data entry, accurate record keeping, and compiling usage statistics.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-pressure, student-facing environment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team in the Student Centre to meet peak registration demand.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as required by line management.
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity in line with institutional policy.

- GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Further education or professional training in administration or customer service (desirable).

- 12th & 13th August – 10:00 to 15:00 (systems and role training)
- 19th–22nd August (split into 2 groups for team shadowing)
- Working Hours: 09:00–17:00 (occasional extensions till 18:30), 1-hour lunch on rota between 12:00–14:00
