Purpose of the Role
The HR Organisational Change Consultant will be responsible for supporting the management of our organisational change programme. A key focus is to align new organisational design with cultural change, HR policy, and staff engagement, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care and service delivery.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience: Significant, demonstrable experience as a Change/Transformation Consultant or Senior HR Business Partner, specifically managing large-scale organisational change within a complex public sector or NHS environment. Trade Union consultation and negotiation experience.
- Methodology: Strong practical knowledge of change management methodologies and project management principles (e.g. PRINCE2).
- NHS Context: Detailed understanding of NHS structure, governance, and HR policies (Agenda for Change), including the application of change management in a clinical setting.
- Communication: Highly developed skills in presenting complex, sensitive, and contentious information to senior management and large staff groups, with proven negotiation and influencing capabilities.
We are looking to fill this role immediately and will require successful candidate to be on-site at least 3 days a week (Based at Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro).
