The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 £ per year.

Term Time only (including INSET days). Fixed Term Contract for 12 months. 32.50 Hours per week (Monday to Friday).

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Heathfield Academy.

Strong literacy/numeracy skills are essential, as well as the ability to relate well to children and adults. This post is for supporting individual and small groups of children with interventions that have a positive impact on their learning.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience of working within a school setting and be highly proactive and committed to going that extra mile to ensure pupils achieve the best they possibly can.
  • Have experience of planning and undertaking interventions that have a positive impact on pupils and their learning outcomes.
  • Be able to communicate with all staff and pupils.
  • Display a commitment to the Trust’s equalities policies.
  • An understanding of, and prior experience of supporting children with special needs is desirable.
