We are a family run 25 bed elderly care home in Kings Norton in Birmingham.

We are looking for someone to join our team to clean twice a week on a Thursday and a Sunday 8am-2pm.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and compassionate Cleaner to join our friendly team at our care home.

You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitise residents’ rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and offices.
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish to a high standard.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and stored correctly.

Work as part of the wider care home team to provide an excellent environment for our residents.

About You

  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Understanding of hygiene and infection control standards is an advantage.
  • Respectful, caring, and committed to maintaining the dignity and comfort of our residents.
