Your Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director you will have the responsibility of supporting the financial operations of the business. This is a busy hands-on position covering accounting through to 6 monthly external Accountant reviews. You will be responsible for all aspects of accounts management including but not limited to:
- Assess and implement software to streamline accounting function
- Complete finance implementation of Odoo (ERP)
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable & credit control
- Cash flow
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS
- Weekly payroll
- Reconciling credit cards, bank accounts, loan accounts and general ledger
- End of month processes and journals
- Weekly, monthly and annual reporting
- Engagement with external accountants
- Business insurance requirements
- Budgeting
- Director expense management
- Management reporting

Your Background: We are seeking a collaborative and experienced finance professional to join the team. This is a multimillion dollar company and therefore we are seeking an experienced accounting professional with prior experience working at a similar level (i.e. turnover in excess of $15M). A love of technology to enable streamlined business processes is a must. We are ideally seeking the following skills and experience:
- Accounting qualifications welcome but not essential
- Experience in a similar position with strong knowledge of accounting principles
- ERP system experience essential i.e. Odoo, SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, JDE etc
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an open plan office
- Strong MS Office skills
